Mar. 23, 2026 – April 25, 2026 “The Screwtape Letters” Book Discussion

This novel by Christian apologist C.S.Lewis is a modern classic illustrating the reality of spiritual warfare in the life of a believer.  But it takes the form of instructive letters between a demon, Uncle Screwtape, and his younger inexperienced trainee, Wormwood, in the subtle art of temptation.   This story is at times humourous and satirical but always thought-provoking as the reader must invert almost everything said by Screwtape to understand it from the proper perspective.  We will discuss a variety of subtopics found in the story that relate the Christian life, sources of temptation, relationships, food, the church, etc.
