Summary of Course: This is an introductory course in the development of the church from the Resurrection of Christ to the end of the 19th century. The subject material offers an important vehicle for integrating what the student may have already studied in various world history programs. Due to the variety of tests, short assignments and essays used for evaluative purposes, it also has proven to be a good “starter” course for students who may not yet be of high school age but wish to prepare for what lies ahead.
Average Number of Hours: 30 to 45 minutes daily

Evaluation: A total of seven tests, fourteen brief written assignments, and two essays will be used to evaluate student progress.
