This course starts from foundations, which makes it workable for the student new to Latin, as well as the one who has studied it previously. The text engages students with interesting subjects and a continuous storyline about the experiences of a typical Roman family living in A.D. 80. Supplementary readings will present history and cultural topics. Lively on-line games and quizzes are available to make learning Latin even more enjoyable. Students will be equipped to take the National Latin Exam in the spring if they wish. Our Latin tutor offers personal help to those students who require it.
Latin I is a full year ONE credit course typically done by students in Grade 9 although older students will benefit from this course if they have studied little to no Latin previously.
