Summary of Course: The study of geography, as it is presented in this course, includes a survey of the earth and its resources, the use of these resources by humans, and the cultural features of people in the various regions and countries of the world. The student will see the inter-relatedness of the many aspects of “geography”; that is, how the physical, political, and economic factors of a region influence one another. Particular emphases will be given to Canadian Geography and Government.
Evaluation: A total of five tests, six assignments/projects, and confirmation of a completed notebook will be used to evaluate student progress.
