Child’s History of the World Student (PB)

This world history book highlights historical events in story form easily understood by young children. It is published and has been used by Calvert School for years and has now been made available to the public. This new edition is one for which many have been waiting. Keep in mind that this book has been written by a man who obviously was influenced by Darwin and the Higher Critics. The first five chapters will need explanation. The rest of the book makes an excellent text for young ones.

NOTE: There are several versions of this book on the market. For Small Steps 1 we use the version from BN Publishing Copyright 2012. This version (and perhaps a few others) have 91 stories which updated Hilyer’s original version to include the 20th Century.
