CS Lewis’ last novel and perhaps his greatest, Till We Have Faces retells the mythological story  of Cupid and Psyche using subtle but developed Christian allusions and themes.  On its surface, a beautiful princess is sacrificed to a mysterious god to live in an invisible palace on the mountain.  However, below the surface, this novel has much to say about beauty and ugliness, invisible truth, sin, and consuming love.
