Summary of Course: Presented in 16 easy to understand and well presented modules, this course is designed to be a follow up to Wile’s Chemistry course. It is intended for those who plan to take further study in the sciences upon graduation. Topics include: limiting-reagent stoichiometry, atomic and molecular orbitals, intermolecular forces, solutions, equilibria, acids and bases, redox reactions, nuclear chemistry, and organic chemistry. The lab kit for this course is highly recommended to facilitate completion of the many excellent lab activities in the text.
Average Number of Hours: 60 minutes daily
Evaluation: A total of sixteen tests and five formal lab reports will be used to evaluate student progress.
