The aim of this course is to equip young minds to think critically in the commercial, political, and social world in which we live. Twenty-eight informal fallacies frequently encountered in the media and conversation will be examined. The emphasis on practical application will help students to remember and apply these lesson long after the course is completed. The reward will be an improved ability to evaluate arguments and reason well.
Logic I is a full year ONE credit course typically done by students in Grade 9 although students who are older will benefit greatly from this course if they have yet to take any Logic.
