Developed by Queen Homeschool in response to multiple requests for a manuscript writing program similar to Pictures in Cursive, this delightful handwriting program incorporates full color photographs (by the Queen family daughters) and handwriting practice. Each book incorporates a different theme and includes short, focused lesson that corresponds to the weekly photograph. Attention to detail is the foundation for this series; at the beginning the student is asked to form his letters perfectly in the short daily lesson, and to follow this up by checking his own work. Once your child is satisfied with his work, he brings it to the parent for appraisal. If the parent deems it below standard, he will gently show the child the errors, the short lesson is erased and the child begins again. While this seems painful (and it is!), children will quickly learn attention to detail in their letter formation. Zaner-Bloser manuscript is the handwriting style taught. Each book is softcover, spiral bound and consumable.
