We have loved the first level of the Small Steps program! My son is a capable but reluctant learner and it has been so satisfying to watch his interest in history grow, being gently reinforced through the openers, closers, and memory selections. The very best part for us, though is how his confidence in writing has soared, with no fighting, no tears. The encouragement included right in the teachers manual directed at me, the teacher, to allow the time and tools needed for success have been such a blessing for me, as a mom who educates. With 6 children, the ease of use, the training towards independence, the fact that I feel like the program is what I would design for my own kids on my very best day, are all huge assets to our homeschool. I recommend the program frequently!
